According to a legend, Reed Flute Cave got its name because people believed that the reed by the cave’s mouth could be made into flutes. The limestone cave offers a majestic fairyland of stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone curtains, birds, plants and animals in fantastic shapes and colors.

There're 3 places where you can see pandas close up: Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center, Dujiangyan Panda Valley and Bifengxia Panda Base.

Chengdu Panda Center is in the north of the city, and is more established. Bifengxia Panda Base is 2 hours from Chengdu, has more pandas, and you can see pandas more in their natural habitat. You can get even closer to the pandas by taking a volunteer program in Bifengxia or Dujiangyan Panda Valley, an hour outside Chengdu.

Hay 3 lugares donde se pueden ver pandas de cerca: Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center, Dujiangyan Panda Valley y Bifengxia Panda Base. Chengdu Panda Center está en el norte de la ciudad, y está más establecido. Bifengxia Panda Base está a 2 horas de Chengdu, tiene más pandas, y puedes ver pandas más en su hábitat natural. Longji Terraces/Terrazas de arroz Longji

The Longji or Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces were built over 500 years ago during the Ming Dynasty.

The terrace fields are found in Longshen.

From a distance, during the growing season, these winding terraces appear as if they were green woven cables laid out over the hillsides, starting at the riverbank and ending near the mountaintop. Visitors can mean through the paddies and villages, greeting and being greeted by horses, pigs, chickens and hard working locals.
